In addition to technology and creativity, Atkins has been an entrepreneur. He was one of the founding four of The Whitlock Group, focused on sales and marketing. As a partner and head of sales and marketing for TGS, Inc (now owned by Ascent Media), they grew a remarkable 200% a year for five years in a row. He was also a partner in The Kingma Agency, a full service marketing firm. He brings a keen sense of business acumen to every project he works on.
